Our Marinas - Brighton
Are there any sailing schools on site?
Plenty. Neilson, SailnetUK and Lagoon Watersports, all operate RYA practical and theory courses for a range of abilities whether it is a case of refreshing old skills, or learning new ones, including boat handling, VHF, or training you on your own boat.
Do boat trips run from the marina?
There is plenty of choice. We have full details in the Brighton Marina Guide and on the website. They range from hour-long trips to the pier and back, to charter vessels, which run longer fishing and diving trips.
Is there a chandlery or yacht equipment store on site?
There is a good selection at the marina, which should be able to cater to all your needs, including yacht rigging, clothing, rope, hardware or anti-foul paint.
What if something goes wrong with my boat and I need specialist help?
There is a wide selection of contractors on site, including, marine engineers, electronics specialists, painters, shipwrights and riggers. In addition, we have a 60-ton travel hoist, Boat Scrubber and boat shed.
What security measures do you have in place to protect my boat?
We operate 24-hour security patrols, CCTV cameras, and Harbourguard boat monitoring to ensure the highest possible levels of security for your peace of mind.
When can I fill up with fuel?
Red diesel and petrol are available 24 hours a day. During the hours of darkness, please contact the berthing master to make arrangements. We also sell bottled gas for stoves.
Where can I go for a day sail?
Staff at marina reception are always happy to pass on ideas and tips. Dieppe and Le Havre are popular, as well as Newhaven, Beachy Head, and Eastbourne to the east, and Shoreham, Littlehampton, to the west, and perhaps on to the Solent.
Where is the best place to berth my boat?
With more than 1,600 berths, there is a wide choice. Some like the vibrancy of mooring alongside the Waterfront's, others prefer the quieter berths in the inner harbour. We aim to meet your specific requirements, but the location depends on availability, your boat's length, beam and draught.
Our Marinas - Falmouth
Are there contractors on site, or locally, who can help me if I have a problem with my boat?
Yes. We have a fully equipped boatyard on site and a boatshed allowing repairs to be carried out undercover. There is also a 15-ton boatmover, 25-ton mobile crane and a 30-ton travel hoist. Storage ashore is available for up to 12 weeks.
How secure will my boat be?
We have 24-hour security so you can relax knowing your vessel is being well looked after.
What draught of boats can you take?
It all depends on the cycle of the tides. If your vessel has a draught over 6 ft, we recommend you contact the marina reception.
What services are there on the pontoons?
We can provide certain services directly to your berth for a weekly or monthly provision of services fee, subject to availability, connection and use. For further details, contact the marina office. Electricity costs 10p per unit, including VAT at five per cent. Water is free of charge.
What time do you close?
Our friendly and experienced staff are on hand to help 24-hours a day. Call in at our reception or contact our staff on VHF Channel 80.
When can I refuel?
Diesel is available 24-hours a day.
When is the Falmouth Regatta?
Saturday August 11th to Saturday August 18th. Almost every class of boat races and there is lots of onshore entertainment with live music, street entertainment, markets, carnival, and fireworks. Falmouth Classics is the first event held with a fleet of over 150 of the classic sailing boats providing a spectacular sight. There are also races for dinghies, modern keelboats and sports boats.
Where will my craft be berthed, and how much will it cost?
Our staff will allocate a berth depending on your requirements and availability within the marina. The cill across the middle of the marina dries at certain states of the tide, but it is still possible to get out three hours either side of high water. Cost depends on the length of your vessel.

Premier Advantage
Can I claim any further discounts?
Premier Advantage membership gives you a 10 per cent discount on any boatyard services at any Premier Marinas-operated boatyard. Pick up a leaflet in any of our receptions to claim a further 20 per cent discount on boat insurance with Haven Knox Johnston.
Can I move my home berth from one Premier Marina to another, without losing the money I have already paid in fees?
If you wish to move permanently, we will transfer any remaining credit to the new marina, and adjust the fees accordingly. Subject to availability.
How does the Marine Emergency Support Scheme work? Does it cost me anything?
Not if you are a 12-month berth holder, and/or you have purchased a boat from our Yacht Sales Department. If something major goes wrong, this scheme will help you cope. You can get advice if you break down and financial help towards engineers' fees, your insurance excess, your travel costs home, and marina charges if a serious illness or accident means you cannot use your boat. How many free visitor nights am I entitled to under the Premier Advantage?
You may berth free for 12 nights throughout the year at any other Premier Marina you wish to visit. There is a two-night limit for each stay. Premier annual berth holders may also visit another Premier Marina any day of the week, between 10am and 3pm. You are also entitled to half-price berthing at six named marinas around the UK and two for one-visitor nights at six French marinas in the Seine Maritime and Cote d'Opal regions.

What is the Premier Advantage?
A package of benefits aimed at rewarding all our annual berth holders by saving you a considerable sum each year. And it does not cost you a penny extra to join!
Will you move my boat for me through the locks at Chichester and Port Solent or the automatic tidal gate at Southsea so I can set off as soon as I arrive at my marina?
The Premier Advantage entitles you to three free movements a year - to the fuel bay, lifting bay, or through the lock or automatic tidal gate. At Southsea, there is no restriction on movements. Please give 24-hours notice at all our marinas.
You advertise one of the benefits as “Fuel at Cost" - What does this mean?
We sell red diesel and petrol without the hefty mark-up charged by some other suppliers. By shopping around and buying in bulk, we can pass on the savings to you, just taking into account the costs of purchasing and dispensing it. In addition, berth holders are entitled to open a fuel account so you can "buy now, pay later".
