Fuel at cost at Premier Marinas
How does it work?
The benefit of our 'fuel at cost' scheme is afforded to all customers with an annual berthing contract and Premier makes no profit from the scheme.
The price charged to annual berthing customers is calculated by taking the purchase price Premier pays and adding a few pence per litre to cover the cost of providing, maintaining and staffing the fuel jetties.
From the 1st November 2008 we will also be required to add duty covering the element of supply which the customer has declared to us is being used for propulsion of the vessel. VAT is then added at the appropriate rate and the selling price is effectively set.
Selling prices are updated when the purchase price for Premier is changed by our fuel supplier.
Alterations to the rules regarding derogation of red diesel will have a significant impact on the diesel price charged from 1st November 2008. Details of how this will work can be found at
